  • Nitro Revo 2.5R goes to heaven

    Unfortunately the Nitro Revo 2.5R I have suffered some issues several weeks back. I had it run away from me and then several weeks later I went to use it again and found it had issues starting.

    I gave up in frustration and ordered an e-revo (after selling off my other 2 electric cars). Courier came early today to drop it off, but didn’t seem to knock or hang about. Now I have to head to the courier depot tomorrow morning to pick it up.

    I got a blue model, should look great. Will get some new batteries for it, in the meantime will need to use the ones it comes with and my old LiPo’s.

    EDIT: on the bright side, I now have a fair few spares from the old nitro that will work on the e-revo model.

  • Traxxas Revo 2.5R bashing

    Managed to make some time to get the Traxxas Revo 2.5R out today. Thanks to my wife, she managed to capture the following clips for me to upload. The car was very dirty at the end of it. I reckon a few weeks of this and then it will be time for a rebuild.

  • Traxxas Rustler VXL damage

    Ran the Traxxas Rustler VXL yesterday and managed to have a wall jump in front of me.

    The damage this time was a shock coming apart. Good news is it wasn’t damaged to the point I couldn’t fix it. Pulled apart, added new oil. Rebuild shock. Reinstalled back on car.

    All good for another use.

  • Traxxas Rustler VXL Brushless

    Finally with the assistance of my nephew I’ve managed to obtain a few video clips of the Traxxas Rustler VXL. Below is a capture from the first video footage we obtained.

  • Traxxas Revo 2.5R Nitro

    Had my trusty Traxxas Revo 2.5R Nitro Monster Truck working today, however just as I was getting into the swing of things, noticed the rubber between the exhaust and engine sprung a leak.

    Guess I will need to order a replacement when I order a few parts in the next 2 weeks. At least I had the unit running again, will give a tune another attempt once I fix the above mentioned part.

    Still waiting on our Rustler VXL Brushless buggy to show up. Still no update on the tracking website. Hoping it arrives sometime this week. Will post some pics and video footage eventually.
