  • Solaris Training

    It looks like Solaris 11 training updates are just around the corner (I noticed Oracle mention beta exams starting in 2012), so I am guessing if anyone was considering Solaris training, it would be wise to wait. Is this the general view of others?

    Be interested to hear from you.

    Reason I am curious and ask, is that my employer wants to get me more involved with Solaris. And I noticed Solaris certifications changed recently to require a course component for Solaris 10, so I imagine this will carry on for Solaris 11.

     

  • EMCPA exam completed

    Sat for my Storage Technology Foundations exam today and managed to obtain 93% overall. Of course that is a pass, so I am pretty happy.

    Decided only last week after starting some review that it might be wise to sit it, since the questions I was reviewing happened to be fresh in my head, not to mention I was doing pretty well at the time with the content.

    So very pleased with the result. Would like to do further stuff, and might just do that. But like everything it will have to wait.
