It’s now been 10 years since Steve Irwin was tragically killed. Channel 7 ran a small segment about him during the morning programming. I remember how my wife and I heard about his death. We were overseas at the time in Canada and Alaska. Someone mentioned it to us and we couldn’t believe it. Sure enough it was true. Devastated.
Every time now when I hear about it or see any footage from his memorial. It just makes me tear up due to memories flooding back from the period.
Steve Irwin is missed by a lot of people and still very much remembered by Australia.
