ADSL2+ router problems – constant disconnections of service due to PPP/DSL drops.

I’ve had to stop using the TP-Link N600 Wireless Dual Band Gigabit ADSL2+ router as it was giving me endless disconnections on my ADSL2+ service. Which is really annoying considering my old Billion 7800NL is rock solid on the same line.

I don’t know if its faulty or what, but all I know is that I just can’t use it and I have tried an endless number of options in the router, including factory rest and firmware changes.

Have wasted a little too much time on something that should work. I am trying to get a refund as it completely doesn’t do what it should for me.

EDIT: I was also having issues getting my Linksys SPA922 to talk to my SIP provider, as the router refused to allow the phone to talk to the provider. I only got it working when I reset to factory defaults and entered all the configuration in again.
