Simpana 10 – default client groups and client group properties

Post installation of Simpana 10, have noticed that we get 2 default client groups straight off the bat. Screen capture shown below;

In addition, what appears to be a cool feature (and might even be new, as I don’t recall this being in Simpana 9 at all) is the automatic association of clients to a group based on rules you can define. Screen capture shown below;

Simpana 10 – Installation

Finally got around to reinstalling Commvault Simpana 10 into a test environment, thought I would take a few screen captures to show some of the UI during the install.

And at the conclusion of that you will now get a dialog pop up as per below where you can authenticate and load up the console for the first time.

So concludes the Commvault Simpana 10 Installation. Of course this is a very basic installation. More screen captures to come as I dig deeper into the product.
